It was great to see a story from trade web-site Planet Vending dropping into our In Box here at Broderick’s today. We especially loved the headline: ‘Broderick’s Dazzles In Walkers ‘Bring It Back’ Campaign.’

You see, we accounted for over 45% of all ‘Bring It Back’ sales through UK vending machines, during Walkers’ recent campaign – not least because the familiar TV was running on all of our 300+ MediaVend screens and we stocked all six of the featured flavours.

In other words, we’re doing something right! Our contact at Walkers, Stephen Hendry, (no, not the former snooker player), was reported as saying ‘Broderick’s understands the benefits of supporting major multi-media consumer marketing campaigns and how to capitalize on the investment that’s put into the brand’, which was very kind of him.

 

We’re out to re-define vending by making it consumer friendly and interactive and we see the MediaVend screens as an important part of that. You – our customers – have (we’re pleased to say) really taken to the on-screen ads; there’s been no negativity towards them at all and this is massively important to us, because we want you to choose a vending machine as your medium of choice, whenever you fancy a drink or a snack and we’ll only achieve that by providing you with what you want, where (and when) you want it!
