HR MANAGER
Key Responsibilities
- To work with key stakeholders to develop and deliver a People Plan that is aligned to the business objectives
- To provide a commercially focused, legally compliant, generalist HR service
- To undertake cost effective recruitment activities in line with business requirements
- To develop strong Line Manager relationships and also work cross functionally to deliver common business objectives
- To work with the Line Managers to improve KPI delivery within each area, identify trends and work in partnership to improve areas of concern
- To communicate effectively and manage organisational and structure change
- To manage and develop the HR procedures including 1-1 meetings and formal performance reviews
- To work in partnership with the Operations team to support the delivery of the wider business Learning and Development / People plan.
- To streamline and improve operational HR efficiency to achieve consistently high standards of support and decision making
- To support and coach line managers, and to manage employee relations providing support with particularly complex issues where necessary
- To create, develop and facilitate employee involvement and participation initiatives including Employee Forum
- To seek out any opportunities to change or develop our processes and procedures so that the department can move towards greater efficiencies and better service
- To undertake any other Ad-hoc project work / activities as required
Profile
Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Ideally CIPD qualified or, working towards
- Proven experience working in an HR function
- Ability to work in an autonomous, decision making role.
- People Management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate and influence at all levels
- Experience of managing a team
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Experience of working with HR /Payroll systems desirable
The Package
This role will pay up to £35,000 + PENSION + BONUS.
