Preparing for lift off: doubling down on our vending offering for airports
At Broderick’s we’re proud to support a range of businesses, especially our growing portfolio of airports across the country. In addition to our contract with the MAG group, at Manchester and Stansted airports, we’ve also secured long term partnerships as the around-the-clock refreshments provider for Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Birmingham Airport. This means our vending machines will serve the 79 million people who go through all four airports’ doors every year.
As part of the Liverpool contract renewal, we’ve added further machines across the facility, bringing the machine count to 21 to serve the 4.5 million passengers who head through the airport every year.
Birmingham Airport, which sees an annual footfall of 11 million, will be benefitting from another five years of the Broderick’s vending experience in its long-term contract renewal.

For example, gates flying to popular family holiday destinations are up-stocked with firm favourites such as fruit juices and seasonal products like Easter eggs, whilst at long-haul gates Broderick’s forward-thinking range of protein rich snacks prove popular, with brands including MyProtein and Huel.
Our strategy is two-fold: service and innovation. With our service backed by automation: we take immense pride in keeping close to what’s happening in the local area, so airports are always prepared for periods of higher demand. Our nebular system allows us to see the lines that need stocking up to serve peaks such summer holidays, or even calendar events like major football matches – with products tailored to travelling football fans’ preferences – to ensuring its vending experience is entirely frictionless by offering preferred ways to pay.
